Choose a view
Switch views in a plan to change how its tasks are arranged. Editing a task updates the same record across the other views.
| View | What it helps you see |
|---|---|
| List | Details, sections, ordered tasks, and keyboard editing. |
| Board | Cards grouped by a chosen property, such as section or status. |
| Calendar | Task dates in a month or week, with an undated tray. |
| Timeline | Project dates, dependencies, milestones, and schedule relationships. |
| Workload | Assignments, estimated effort, and available capacity. |
| Goals and Insights | Outcomes, progress, and explanations of the numbers. |
Group and filter with intent
Use visible filters to narrow a view, then save a view you want to reuse. Personal views belong to you. Shared views are part of plan configuration and require the appropriate plan role.
A task assigned to several people or carrying several labels can appear in more than one group. Totals count distinct tasks. Sorting a view changes its presentation without replacing your manual task order.
Understand what a move changes
On Board, moving a card changes the property used for its grouping. Moving by section changes section; moving by status changes status. An assignment or label move can ask whether you want to add, replace, or remove a value.
Calendar moves choose a concrete date or a date span. Review the date change and any schedule impact before applying it. Use the equivalent editing controls when you prefer a keyboard or do not want to drag.
