Welcome to Room to Plan

Find your way around, capture your first thought, and give your plans a place to grow.

Start with your own space

Room to Plan brings everyday tasks and bigger projects together. You can begin on your own with a private task, then create a plan when a few related tasks belong together. Inviting someone is optional.

The web app is currently in controlled testing. If you already have access, open the app and sign in with your usual email address. The guides describe the web test build; some screens preview an update still in testing.

Three places to find your work

Start with Today, Tasks, and Plans. Each gives you a different way to see the same work.

PlaceUse it for
TodayChoose the tasks you want to focus on for a particular day.
TasksFind your private work, assigned tasks, and work shared with you.
PlansKeep related tasks, dates, and project details together.

Your first few minutes

  1. Add a task with a short, concrete title, such as “Choose the project photos.”
  2. Open its details when you want to add a note, checklist, priority, or deadline.
  3. Choose a day in Today for work you want to focus on.
  4. Create a private plan for a project, then put related tasks into it.
  5. Try List, Board, or Calendar to see which view helps you decide what comes next.

Sign in to the right account

Enter the email address you signed up with and request a sign-in code. Use the code sent to that address. A different address creates a separate private account, so check the address if your plans seem to be missing.

A successful sign-in does not necessarily give a new account testing access. Follow the current beta instructions if access is limited. You can explore the sample plan on the main website without an app account.
