Find the task you need
Tasks brings together work you can access. Use search and the available filters to narrow by text, status, assignment, date, label, or plan. Shared with me helps you find work another person has shared.
Filters change what you are looking at. They leave the underlying tasks in place. If something seems missing, clear the filters and check whether you are signed in to the right account.
Open the details
Select a task to open its detail panel or page. The same task can have a title, notes, status, progress, a blocked reason, dates, priority, labels, people, checklist, files, and links.
Keep status, percentage progress, and blocked state distinct. A task can be in progress and blocked at the same time. A checklist tracks its own items; check the task status when the whole piece of work is finished.
Edit, move, or copy a selection
Use selection controls for changes to several tasks. Review the selected tasks and the proposed action before applying it.
Moving a task keeps its identity and its own discussion and activity. A cross-plan move may need decisions about fields, labels, dependencies, children, and access. Read the preview before applying. Copying creates new tasks with the content you choose.
Recover work
Trash keeps recoverable tasks separate from active work. Restore a task from Trash when you need it again, within the retention window shown by the app.
Activity records task changes. When Undo is offered, it checks whether the saved change can still be reversed. A later edit can mean you need to review the task instead.
