Create a plan
Open Plans and choose New plan. Give it a recognizable name and, if useful, a short description and accent. A new plan starts private.
- Name the outcome or project, such as “Studio website.”
- Choose a Simple, Project, or Custom setup.
- Create sections for meaningful groups of work.
- Add tasks, then open a task when it needs more detail.
Choose a setup that fits
A setup chooses which tools and views are visible. You can change configuration as the plan grows.
| Setup | A useful starting point |
|---|---|
| Simple | Everyday lists and straightforward projects. |
| Project | Structured work with hierarchy, Timeline, Goals, and Workload controls. Scheduling starts in Manual mode. |
| Custom | Choose the modules and views appropriate to your plan. |
Keep useful plans close
Use favorites, recent plans, and personal organization to return to work quickly. A personal favorite changes your navigation; removing it from favorites leaves your access intact.
A plan has a stable identity when you rename it or change its appearance. List, Board, Calendar, and other enabled views keep working with the same tasks.
Archive, restore, or leave
Archive a finished plan when you want it out of active work while retaining its content. Reopen it when you need to continue. Trash and restore are separate actions with a retention window.
The owner manages plan archival, trash, and ownership transfer. Leaving a shared plan changes your participation. An owner needs to complete an accepted ownership transfer before leaving work that still needs another owner.
